Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Process Engineer with strong Lean Six Sigma experience to join their operations team in Cleveland, OH. This role is key to driving plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives focused on optimizing processes, reducing waste, and enhancing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a hands‑on, data‑driven approach to process improvement and a proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams toward measurable, sustainable outcomes.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and eliminate waste
- Deliver sustainable improvements in workflow, safety, quality, productivity, and cost
- Manage lean transformation using structured problem‑solving techniques (Ex: Kaizen, PDCA, A3)
- Eliminate non‑value‑added activities using lean tools (Ex: 5S, Root Cause Analysis, & VSM)
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through coaching and employee engagement
- Review and optimize company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations teams
- Develop and deliver training materials to enhance internal lean capabilities
- Facilitate training sessions for supervisors, production staff, and maintenance teams
- Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to lean initiatives
- Lead shop floor lean activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Promote sustainable change through data‑driven influence and cross‑functional collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
- Hands‑on experience in Lean Six Sigma and process engineering in a manufacturing setting required
- Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular) required
- Must be available to work 100% on‑site at the Cleveland facility
