An international manufacturer automotive fastener components is searching for a skilled Application Engineer to join their team in the Cleveland, OH area. The ideal candidate will have a technical background with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with cold‑heading or cold‑forming machinery, with a positive, customer and team‑oriented mindset.
This is a full‑time, direct‑hire position with an excellent benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as 401(k) matching.

• Act as point of contact for customers and clients regarding product issues, quality assurance, technical support, and any other questions
• Create and deliver technical demonstrations and explanations of products, as well as usage and training materials for customers
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend additional parts and services
• Collaboration with sales and engineering teams regarding planning and design, customer requests, market analysis, and expected demand
• Issue purchase orders and log activity and customer interactions in company system(s)
• Occasional business travel as needed
• Other duties as assigned
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or similar technical field preferred
• Familiarity with machine components and equipment installation and maintenance; specific experience in a customer‑facing or field service position is a plus
• Good computer skills and at proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
• Strong communication and collaboration skill in a multicultural environment
• Problem‑solving and time management skills
