Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector‑Electrical to oversee federal construction projects in the Canandaigua, NY area.

• U.S. Citizen and must pass a federal background review and drug screen.

• Provide construction inspection services on multiple federal projects ranging in value from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of dollars.
• Handle large Federal Building Design, Medical Building Design, or other complex projects valued at $100 million or more.
• Perform site observation and reporting for assigned projects to government personnel.
• Deliver technical and administrative support.
• Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities in accordance with established policies.
• Analyze design and construction issues with respect to contract requirements and recommend compliance measures.
• Review and interpret plans, specifications, submittals, reports, schedules, modifications, cost estimates, pay applications, change orders, and claims.
• Prepare field surveillance and daily detailed reports covering safety, cost, and engineering considerations.
• Participate in pre‑construction conferences with government personnel.
• Apply knowledge of Industrial/Laboratory building electrical systems, low‑voltage and high‑voltage, building automation, data centers, and complex electrical engineering elements in large buildings.

• Extensive experience with electrical systems of all types; significant low‑voltage system experience highly desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of construction inspection experience.
• Preferably Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or other federal project experience.
• Experience using RMS 3.0 preferred.
• Engineering degree, RCDD and/or registered P.E. in Electrical Systems is a plus.
