Pay Range: $35-$38/hr

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering field
• Process engineering experience: processing machining line from beginning to end
• Purchasing, setting up, and delivering the right equipment to appropriate plant teams
• Knowledge writing orders to buy equipment, running off equipment, qualifying and running to production

Process Engineer specializing in crankshaft manufacturing, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for crankshafts at the Cleveland Engine Plant.

• Purchasing and delivering equipment. Writing orders to buy the needed equipment, making sure equipment is designed, run off on supplier floor, run it off, qualifying and running to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Development, Suppliers, Launch Programs) to:
  Generate tooling and facility cost estimates and Improve quality and reduce labor demand
• Use virtual tools to assess feasibility of new designs for high-volume manufacturing
• Write, modify, and maintain process documentation, including:
  Process sheets, Cycle Line Layouts
• Lead machining and assembly tooling design, build, installation, commissioning—and support vendor buy-offs
• Identify, resolve, and close product and tooling launch issues; extract lessons learned for future prevention
