** About the Mechanical Engineer Internship:
** Gain hands-on experience reading engineering prints while partnering with operators to analyze manufacturing processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

* What we're looking for:

*** Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
* Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office software:
Excel, Word, and Power Point
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
* Ability to succeed in a team environment.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks.

* Preferred experience:

*** Advanced Excel and analyst skills.
* AutoCAD experience.
* Exposure to Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Tools.
** What you'll focus on:
*** Organize and maintain electrical and mechanical drawings within our document management system.
* Verify engineering prints accurately reflect current parts and manufacturing processes.
* Assist with the design and development of new parts and components.
* Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
