Sportsbook Cashier - On Call; Tips

Position: Sports book Cashier - On Call (Tips Included)
Reporting to the Sports book Supervisor, the Sports book Cashier is responsible for accurate cash handling and providing superior guest service. The Sports book Cashier is responsible for supporting the retail sports book operation to consistently provide betJACK customers with an outstanding experience that exceeds expectations. You will also be responsible for the sports book's compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Essential Functions

• Ensure strict compliance of all OCCC regulations and federal IRS requirements.
• Write, verify and finalize payment on sports wagers.
• Maintain accurate cash bank.
• Answer questions relating to sports betting wagers and/or betJACK sports book app.
• Provide superior customer service and build relationships with casino guests.
• Own and organize a clean sports book counter area.
• Follow service procedures, policies and standards and support the team.
• Stay current on all compliance training and SOPs.
• Adhere to quality and quantity standards and control mechanisms.
• Accurately complete all required gaming forms, maintaining customer confidentiality.
• Keep ahead of customer service industry trends, challenge the status quo, and apply best practices or new ideas to areas of improvement.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Basic math skills.
• Proficient using point of sale terminals.
• Must possess knowledge of sports betting markets, products and customer.
• Meticulous cash handling practices.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Heightened attention to detail while recording guest information.
• History of maintaining an accurate cash bank

Education and Experience

• Previous cash handling experience required.
• Sports book/casino experience preferred.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Required Certification/License

• Must be able to obtain, and maintain a Ohio Casino Control Commission Sports Gaming License
