• Prepare individual, business, and other types of tax returns for clients in various entities and industries.
• Work with the tax team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed, including tax planning, client interaction, and special tax projects.
• Gather relevant tax‑related information from the client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
• Look at tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
• Develop solutions and communicate those solutions to the engagement team and client.
• Prepare accounting‑related reports through a paperless office environment.
• Train and mentor lower‑level employees in the tax department.
• Attend training seminars, professional development, and networking events.

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Have an active CPA license or are working toward obtaining a CPA license;
  Enrolled Agent (EA) certification also accepted.
• Have 2‑4 years of tax experience within public accounting.
• Have a well‑rounded knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
• Actively stay up‑to‑date on the ever‑changing tax industry's regulations and policies.
• Are a self‑starter who enjoys working independently and in a team environment.
• Are able to focus on complex tasks and quickly understand the firm’s comprehensive compliance processes.
