Position OverviewOur client is looking for a Division Controller to play a key role on the site leadership team, accountable for directing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, compliance, and internal controls. This onsite role reports to the General Manager and leads a finance team while acting as a strategic partner to guide operational and financial decision‑making.
Role Highlights- Collaborate closely with the GM and senior leaders to manage the financial health of the operation and provide data‑driven support for business initiatives.
- Review and interpret major contracts and performance indicators, identifying trends, variances, and recommended follow‑up actions.
- Drive the forecasting process, ensuring projections are accurate, well‑supported, and reflective of the key factors influencing results.
- Oversee the creation of monthly reporting packages, quarterly outlooks, and the annual budget and long‑range planning cycles.
- Ensure all financial practices adhere to corporate policies and internal control standards, safeguarding the integrity of site financials.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to produce meaningful analysis that informs operational and strategic choices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
- Prior experience leading finance functions within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands‑on involvement supporting a plant or production facility is required.
- Strong command of financial statements, forecasting processes, and analytical modeling.
- Proven ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Solid knowledge of standard cost accounting and manufacturing finance principles.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
