Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across both compliance and consulting engagements.
  • Advise clients on state and local tax matters involving partnership and corporate returns, with a focus on multistate considerations.
  • Coordinate closely with internal tax preparation teams, reviewing estimated payments, withholding and composite calculations, and investor‑related schedules.
  • Manage engagement workflow, staffing, timelines, and billing.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on audit support, nexus analysis, voluntary disclosures, and other SALT planning matters.
  • Conduct research on state and local tax issues, including legislative developments, and support compliance and investor reporting processes.
  • Contribute to proposal development for new and existing client engagements.
  • Mentor and support the development of staff and senior team members.

  • CPA or related certification preferred but not required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in state income/franchise tax, federal tax, pass‑through entities, tax research, or corporate returns.
  • Experience with tax planning is a plus.
  • Strong research, writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Prior public accounting or professional services experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.
