Associate – Private Equity

We’re partnering with a lower-middle market private equity firm that is looking to add an Associate to its growing investment team.

• Support the evaluation, structuring, and execution of M&A transactions, including both new platform investments and add-on acquisitions
• Lead financial analysis and due diligence efforts, including building complex financial models to support investment decisions
• Partner with portfolio company leadership teams on strategic and financial initiatives, including KPI development, tracking, and performance management
• Assist with ongoing portfolio monitoring and value-creation efforts post-investment
• Participate in meetings with executive teams, intermediaries, lenders, and other transaction partners
• Contribute to liquidity and exit processes, including recapitalizations and sale transactions

The ideal candidate is analytical, intellectually curious, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Candidates should bring strong valuation and M&A modeling experience, sound business judgment, and the professional presence to work directly with senior executives and deal partners.

• Experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, accounting, or private equity
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism, work ethic, and initiative
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
• Desire to contribute meaningfully to a collaborative, growth-oriented firm
