Vice President Investment Banking

Overview

I’m currently partnering with a growing financial advisory firm that is looking to add a Vice President to their Investment Banking & Consulting team.

One thing candidates consistently appreciate about this firm is the healthier work-life balance compared to traditional investment banking—while still getting meaningful deal exposure and leadership responsibility.

• Leading sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions from start to finish
• Owning execution work streams including modeling, valuation, diligence, structuring, and negotiations
• Acting as the primary client contact, building trust and long-term relationships
• Overseeing timelines, deliverables, and project quality across multiple active engagements
• Supporting (and eventually helping drive) business development initiatives
• Partnering with internal advisory teams on valuation, diligence, and consulting projects
• Coaching and developing junior team members
• Contributing to firm growth through thought leadership in M&A and transaction advisory

• 6–10+ years in Investment Banking, M&A, Transaction Advisory, or Corporate Development
• Strong hands-on experience with deal execution
• Advanced financial modeling + valuation skills
• Proven ability to lead engagement teams and manage client relationships
• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business (advanced degree a plus)
• CPA, CVA, AM&AA, CPCU, or similar credentials are a plus
