Senior or Manager, Transaction Services

What You'll DoAs a Senior or Manager on our Transaction Services (TS) team, you'll play a key role in executing and leading financial due diligence engagements for middle-market private equity firms, corporate buyers, and closely held businesses. Depending on your level, you'll contribute as a hands-on technical leader or serve as a primary client contact guiding engagement teams through complex transactions.

Both roles are integral to developing talent and supporting the continued growth of our Transaction Services practice.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong audit foundation who wants to apply their accounting knowledge in a deal-driven, client-facing environment without the limitations often found at larger firms. Financial Due Diligence & Deal Leadership Execute and/or lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, including quality of earnings, working capital, and cash flow analyses.

Analyze and evaluate complex financial information to identify key transaction risks and opportunities.

Prepare, review, and oversee transaction reports and client deliverables.

Apply technical accounting knowledge to address transaction-related issues and conclusions.

Client & Stakeholder Management Support or serve as the primary day-to-day client contact throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to private equity, corporate, and owner-operator clients.

Manage interactions with target company management, advisors, and other transaction stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsiveness, credibility, and professionalism.

Technical Oversight & Analytical Excellence Perform and/or review complex analyses and work papers prepared by the engagement team.

Ensure appropriate application of U.S. GAAP and transaction-related accounting guidance.

Provide technical coaching and feedback to associates (Managers also coach senior associates).Identify transaction issues early and develop practical, client-focused solutions.

Leadership & Team Development Supervise, coach, and develop associates within the TS team;
Managers also lead senior associates.

Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture within a pod-based structure.

Provide real-time feedback, performance guidance, and career development support.

Lead by example in professionalism, accountability, and client service excellence.

Who You Are Required Bachelor 's degree in Accounting or a related field

Senior: 3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting transaction services, financial due diligence, or audit

Manager: 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience in transaction services, financial due diligence, or audit, including at least 2 years in transaction services or financial due diligence, with proven leadership experience

Knowledge of financial statements, U.S. GAAP, and transaction accounting concepts (advanced knowledge required at the Manager level)
Strong project management, analytical, and decision-making skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in complex, client-facing environments

Ability to manage multiple priorities while contributing to the development of others

Preferred CPA or other relevant credential (e.g., CFA)
Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MAcc, or Master's in Finance)
