UH Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital is seeking dedicated nurses to join our award‑winning NICU team.

We are currently offering challenging and rewarding employment opportunities within our NICU. The NICU serves families across the region and strives to provide safe, efficient, age‑specific nursing care.

Benefits include a sign‑on bonus of $8,000 for experienced NICU RNs with at least one year of NICU experience. All sign‑on bonus amounts are subject to applicable taxes.

• Implement the nursing process by delivering effective, relationship‑based nursing care.
• Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
• Develop self and contribute to the professional practice of nursing.
• Display leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
• Refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation for specific duties and responsibilities.
• Abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies and procedures address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

  Day/Night rotation
• Alternating weekend/holidays
• Some call shifts required
• Straight night shift or part‑time opportunities may be available for experienced NICU RNs with at least one year of recent NICU experience.
