Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an OH or compact license and recent telemetry experience.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit,

• Patient population includes medical-surgical and telemetry cases,

• Rotating day/night 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am) with schedule adjustments based on hospital needs,

• Required to work every other holiday,

• Telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm recognition assessment during orientation,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand,

• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience,

• At least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments,

• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications,

• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate tests during orientation,

Additional Information

• Teamwork and adaptability are essential due to potential for shift rotation,

• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location may not exceed 18 consecutive months,

• A 6-month break is required before returning to a Cleveland Clinic assignment with American Traveler,

• Holiday coverage is required for at least every other holiday,
