Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring a permanent OH or compact state license and 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit,

• Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:00),

• Rotating holiday coverage required,

• Telemetry monitoring with ECG rhythm recognition,

• Assignment length is 13 weeks,

Job Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration,

• Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required,

• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be current,

• Acceptable scores required on ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate during orientation (max two attempts),

• No license hits accepted,

• One supervisory reference in specialty required,

• BG check must not have any open cases,

• BCI/FBI fingerprinting required within 48 hours of contract signing,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include caring for adult patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry nursing,

• Testing and annual modules completed prior to or during orientation,

• Team-oriented environment with required rotational holiday coverage,

• Permanent and per diem candidates must wait at least 1 year before returning for a new assignment,

• Onsite badging and fingerprinting required prior to start,

• PAPR will not be provided for facial hair unless a medical or religious exemption is approved,
