Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an OH or compact RN license and 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience.

Job Details

• Work on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting,

• Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am), with possible variable assignment to meet hospital needs,

• Expected to work every other holiday,

• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments required during orientation,

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio or compact state RN license in hand,

• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in the MS/Tele specialty prior to travel assignments,

• 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required (travel experience accepted),

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) from AHA or American Red Cross,

Additional Information

• Assignments at this health system may not exceed 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month gap before a new assignment,

• Qualivis - Lotus system used for submitting hours worked,

• Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation,
