Shift: 8:00-4:30
Summary: Enhances the operational flow of the assigned practice/medical service at the main campus satellites, and affiliated community partners. Performs a variety of duties to support the department and assigned faculty members. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The Metro Health System.
Qualifications:
- Required: High school graduate or passage of a high school equivalency exam; minimum three years of relevant experience; proficient PC skills with Word, Excel, Access, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, and the Internet; excellent writing, interpersonal, customer service, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills; ability to work independently within a team environment; ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of individuals.
- Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; related experience in a medical practice; experience working in an educational/medical research setting; knowledge of medical terminology and medical program coordination; bilingual Spanish based on departmental need.
Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face‑to‑face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job‑related documents. Ability to use computer.
