Chief Medical Officer
Centers for Dialysis Care (CDC) is seeking an experienced, mission‑driven Chief Medical Officer to lead clinical strategy and ensure the highest standards of dialysis care across our outpatient facilities in Northeast Ohio. The CMO plays a vital role in shaping clinical policy, supporting medical directors, and advancing quality, safety, and innovation for the patients and communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and oversight of patient care policies, protocols, and quality programs
- Support and supervise Facility Medical Directors and foster strong relationships with the medical staff
- Oversee infection control, clinical operations, and adherence to federal and state regulations
- Lead clinical quality improvement, review outcome trends, and guide policy and practice enhancements
- Serve as senior medical advisor for technology, equipment, and clinical information systems
- Represent CDC with partners, hospitals, community stakeholders, and national ESRD organizations
- Promote excellence in medical education and support staff training and development
- Board‑certified practicing nephrologist licensed to practice in Ohio
- Demonstrated leadership experience in dialysis or kidney care
- Strong communication skills, collaborative approach, and commitment to high‑quality patient outcomes
