Role:
Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Rheumatology within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicines division. Objectives include serving as a scientific expert and strategic partner, supporting medical engagement, and advancing the company's immunology portfolio in Upstate New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
- Developing territory‑specific scientific engagement plans
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with KOLs and HCPs
- Providing balanced scientific education
- Supporting investigator‑initiated studies
- Delivering tailored scientific data
- Collaborating with internal teams such as R&D, Medical Affairs, and clinical operations
- Utilizing insights and AI tools to optimize engagement and decision‑making
- Staying current on therapeutic trends, scientific literature, and treatment landscapes
- Fostering inclusion and compliance
- Contributing to medical strategy
- Doctorate (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience as an MSL
- Strong scientific acumen
- Ability to support a territory with up to 70% travel
- Preferred attributes: residency/fellowship
- Knowledge in immunology or related therapeutic areas
- Proficiency with digital tools
- Residency in major metro areas like Columbus, Cleveland, or Syracuse
