Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT​/RRT

American Traveler is seeking an ED Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• Ohio RRT license required if applicable
• Active NBRC certification required at time of consideration
• Active BLS, ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• No pending licenses or certifications accepted

• Emergency Department RRT position
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Weekend work as needed
• May float to other CCF facilities including Avon, Euclid, Fairview, Lutheran, and Pulmonary Main Campus
• Smoke-free and nicotine-free facility with no exceptions
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, medical/religious exemptions only
• Background check findings reviewed by facility; no license hits accepted
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, followed by a required 6-month break
• First-time travelers not considered for this position
