Key

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Recent acute care hospital experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures for neonate to adult patients
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocol
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patient responses
• Operate ventilators and other respiratory equipment safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on respiratory techniques and care
