Travel Radiation Therapist

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT(R)(T) certification and Ohio license to join a hospital radiation oncology team on a 13-week assignment.

• ARRT(R)(T) certification required
• Active Ohio Radiation Therapist license required if applicable
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS required
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in the specialty required for Ohio locations
• Experience with radiation oncology specific EMR and record and verify systems required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine required for non-nursing/CST travelers

• Hospital-based Radiation Therapist role in a Radiology/Cardiology allied health setting
• Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule with flexible start times between 6am and 12pm
• Weekend and holiday on-call rotations required
• May float to other facilities within the health system as needed
• Uses radiation oncology specific EMR with record and verify functionality
• Experience with external radiation therapy, IMRT, IGRT, and CT simulation preferred
• Deliver external beam radiation therapy treatments and support CT simulation procedures
• Work as part of a collaborative radiation oncology care team
• Expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Permanent candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Assignments limited to 18 consecutive months with a required 6-month break before returning to any facility within this health system
