Overview
Housekeeper position at Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland Downtown. Responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Pre-Cleaning and Stocking:
Prepare work cart with supplies, attend morning stand-up, assist with dirty linen as needed. - Clean and Stock Rooms:
Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms per shift. - Additional Cleaning Projects:
Complete cleaning in storage rooms, public spaces, guest laundry, and deep-cleaning tasks as assigned. Keep front and back of house areas organized and clean. - Spotless Cleanliness:
Maintain sparkling cleanliness across all areas. - Teamwork and Hospitality:
Greet guests with a smile, use guest names when possible, and support guest satisfaction efforts. - Checklists and Handover:
Complete operational checklists accurately and on time; provide timely handover reports for shift-to-shift communication. - Uniform and Appearance:
Wear a clean, approved uniform with nametag; maintain professional grooming.
- Happy Guests:
Management performance ratings; guest satisfaction scores; likelihood to return. - Spotless Cleanliness: GM/AGM spot checks; leadership walkthroughs; guest ratings.
- Product Consistency & Quality:
Checklist tracking; management ratings; guest ratings. - Teamwork:
Management performance ratings related to teamwork and collaboration.
- Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise, or related field preferred.
- Can-Do Attitude:
Positive attitude and willingness to learn. - Ability to Follow Guidelines:
Follow established guidelines and procedures. - Ability to Handle Pace and Pressure:
Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations. - Listening and Conflict Resolution:
Effectively listen, understand, and resolve concerns of coworkers and guests. - Communication
Skills:
Clear and effective communication. - Hospitality and Guest Service:
Desire to serve all guests. - Age Requirement: 18 years or older.
- Schedule and Travel:
Willing to work varied shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays as required. - Clock-in/Out and Breaks:
Accurate clock-in/out; take breaks as scheduled; notify supervisor when calling out.
