Benefits Coordinator - Cleveland - Hybrid - $65-80k

* Prior/current professional services industry experience is preferred*

Our client, a well known professional services group in the heart of Cleveland is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join their team.. As a key member of their HR team, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day administration of their employee benefits programs.

Key Responsibilities

You will process enrollments and changes for various group benefits, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances. This includes updating our HRIS, notifying payroll of premium deductions, and reconciling monthly accounts with our carriers.

You will lead all aspects of Affordable Care Act (ACA) administration, from preparing annual notifications and tracking monthly eligibility to filing required electronic forms with the IRS and state agencies.

You will serve as the primary contact for employees, answering their questions and helping them resolve issues related to their benefits. You'll also conduct new hire benefit orientations and assist with administrative tasks for promotions and new partners.

You'll coordinate the annual open enrollment process, including updating materials, communicating changes, and managing all administrative duties to ensure a smooth and successful experience for all employees.

You will coordinate long-term disability (LTD) claims with both carriers and claimants, and perform daily audits of our benefits administration system.

Qualifications

Experience: A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related benefits experience are required.

ACA Expertise: Proven experience in ACA administration is a must-have.

Technical Skills: You should be proficient with HRIS and the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to effectively explain complex benefit information to all levels of staff.
