Responsibilities
- Assist in managing human resources duties with an emphasis on confidentiality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Handle personnel actions and provide information for payroll and other uses.
- Describe, maintain, and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Process new hires, offer letters, transfer/promotion letters, job changes, and answer related inquiries.
- Record information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, performance reviews, and terminations in the HRIS.
- Assist with warning reports, leave of absences, and short‑term disability claims.
- Prepare and file reports of accidents and injuries, including maintaining workers’ compensation files.
- Assist with pre‑hire testing and oversee/follow up on random drug screening.
- Perform data entry, filing, scanning, copying, and dispose of purged files following the established data retention schedule and legal requirements.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED; BA/BS in Business, Communications, Marketing, or similar preferred.
- 2+ years of experience with HR principles and practices or related experience.
- Experience with UKG/Paylocity HRIS system is highly desired.
