Taft is seeking a Marketing Technology Coordinator to join our dynamic team of legal professionals in our Cleveland, Columbus or Indianapolis office.

Taft is a modern law firm and the marketing and business development team is on the front lines of the firm’s innovation. As a valued member of the team, you will get a hands-on experience, collaborating to enhance and maintain Taft’s brand presence. The Marketing Technology Coordinator at Taft plays a key role in managing and maintaining the firm’s experience database, ensuring the accuracy, organization, and accessibility of client matters, case studies, and firm credentials.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Experience Management & Content Development

  • Gather, organize, and maintain attorney experience and client matter data within Foundation Firm Intelligence.
  • Work closely with attorneys, business development professionals, and other marketing team members to ensure all experience records are accurate, up-to-date, and categorized correctly.
  • Work with business development professionals to develop compelling descriptions of casework, transactions, and litigation matters for use in proposals, pitches, website content, and ranking submissions.
  • Ensure consistency in how firm experience is presented across marketing materials and external communications.
  • Optimize Foundation Firm Intelligence to improve data categorization, searchability, and reporting functionalities.
  • Ensure data alignment between Foundation Firm Intelligence and Deal Cloud, maintaining consistency across systems.
  • Support Deal Cloud data management efforts by coordinating with business development and IT teams to streamline data entry, validation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT and marketing teams to ensure the experience management system integrates effectively with other firm resources.
  • Train attorneys and business development professionals on best practices for using, submitting, and updating data in Foundation and Deal Cloud.
  • Business Development & Proposal Support
  • Work with attorneys and Taft’s proposal manager to source and tailor experience data for RFPs, pitches, and other business development initiatives.
  • Support submissions for legal directories, awards, and rankings (e.g., Chambers) by compiling relevant firm experience from Foundation Firm Intelligence.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose experience content for social media, client alerts, and newsletters.

Data Integrity & Compliance

  • Ensure all experience records adhere to client confidentiality and compliance policies.
  • Regularly audit and update content to maintain data accuracy and completeness.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, information management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a law firm, professional services firm, or related industry, preferably in experience management, practice management, or business development.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to distill complex legal matters into clear and compelling content.
  • Proficiency in Foundation Firm Intelligence and familiarity with Deal Cloud preferred.
  • Experience managing data within CRM and experience management platforms (Deal Cloud and Foundation preferred).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with attorneys, marketing teams, and administrative staff.
