• Client interaction:
  Harvest requirements from the client, translate them into a solution that meets the client’s objectives, and lead the technology aspect of the pursuit team.
• Pursuit shaping:
  Provide guidance for solution and pursuit definition, presales thought leadership, and ascertain technical delivery possibilities and costs for top critical business solution implementations.
• Technology presales development:
  Design and develop pursuit design and response around EY’s SAP delivery and technology capabilities. Address identified technology gaps through established innovation and product channels.
• Presales architecture & solutioning:
  Drive solution architecture for mid‑to‑large scale pursuits, establish presales standards and guidelines, and align solution architecture with client EA and IT roadmaps.
• RFP responses and insights:
  Shape RFP responses, bring incisive technical insights, and provide actionable recommendations based on underpinned solutions.
• Stakeholder collaboration:
  Build relationships with delivery and competence centre teams, ensure implemented solutions follow approved designs, and mitigate technology issues and risks proactively.
• Community contribution:
  Assist in onboarding new technology presales architects and contribute to the presales community and good architecture practices.

• Presales & pursuit architecture for large scale pursuits.
• Thought leadership in pursuit, business, and service line teams.
• Deep understanding of SAP technology, EY’s SAP drivers, and product tools.
• Establish and enforce presales standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Hands‑on end‑to‑end solution architecture aligned with client EA and IT roadmaps.
• Identify and address technology gaps with innovation and product teams.
• Determine the impact of emerging technology and translate value into business and IT capture.
• Reduce costs and bring efficiencies through expertise in EY’s technical and business architecture.
• Pro‑actively develop the presales community and serve as an ambassador for architecture.
• Maintain relationships with relevant delivery teams and ensure implemented solutions follow approved designs throughout the application lifecycle.

• Knowledge of industry solutions and products.
• Strong technical background with experience in deal development, architecture & strategy.
• Experience with large‑scale multi‑technology, data, analytics deals.
• All‑round technical expertise:
  Applications, infrastructure, digital, security.
• Technical / data / application / integration architecture experience.
• RFP response shaping and client proposal presentation.
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.
• Business acumen and ability to develop strategic ongoing customer relationships.
• Risk identification and mitigation, portfolio management awareness.
• Organized, methodical, rigorous, and detail oriented.
• Leadership and negotiating skills with influence and networking.

• Be an individual contributor who influences without authority.
• Have experience in offshore/onsite working models and work with different geographies.
• Desirable Agile Delivery, Dev Ops, TOGAF, IASA, ITIL V3/V4 certifications.
• Be willing to travel internationally and domestically.
• Hold a BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Bring 15+ years of technology, business development, and thought leadership experience.
