Software Engineer in Test

Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

We’re looking for a strong hands‑on QA/Test Engineer who specializes in Kafka‑based data pipelines and API testing. The ideal candidate must not only understand testing concepts but must deeply understand how data flows through Kafka and how APIs interact with upstream/downstream systems.

• Strong understanding of Kafka concepts: topics, partitions, producers, consumers, security
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle, Mongo
  
  DB, and SQL
• Kafka client configuration and issue troubleshooting
• Design, develop, and execute test plans for Kafka data processing
• API testing using Postman and Swagger
• Validate responses, performance, error handling, and status codes
• Perform manual and automated API testing
• CI/CD and automated testing experience
• Tools:
  Git, Jira, X‑ray, Confluence

• Kafka testing

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
