Sr AI Program Manager

Medical Mutual, Ohio – Lead enterprise AI initiatives, bridging IT, Data & Analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable impact.

Plan, evaluate, execute, and launch AI projects that align with strategy, ensuring timely delivery, scope integrity, and stakeholder engagement.

• Lead AI initiatives end-to-end, from intake and evaluation through sign‑offs from legal, compliance, IT, and business stakeholders. Establish and manage intake, prioritization, and delivery frameworks to align initiatives with enterprise strategy and deliver measurable value.
• Prioritize use cases based on business impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment. Ensure organizational readiness by aligning stakeholders and managing change. Establish documented best practices with clear processes, communications, and enablement strategies that accelerate adoption and minimize resistance.
• Act as a liaison across internal teams—including business stakeholders, IT, legal, and external partners—to foster alignment, drive shared accountability, and enable seamless collaboration and delivery to achieve objectives. Communicate AI’s role and benefits across the organization.
• Develop and track KPIs, measure financial and operational impact, and refine approaches to scale best practices across the portfolio. Report on realized business value, trends, and other insights to internal stakeholders.
• Stay current on emerging AI trends and incorporate lessons learned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7 or more years of progressive experience in technical or AI program/project management, with a proven ability to manage stakeholders, influence cross‑functional teams, and collaborate effectively with leadership and external vendors.

• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, including generative AI, with awareness of capabilities, limitations, and implications.
• Strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills, capable of synthesizing complex information and providing actionable recommendations.
• Analytical ability to interpret data trends and patterns, translating them into meaningful business solutions.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills, with experience communicating at all organizational levels, including senior management.
• Ability to work with limited guidance and collaborate across various organizational areas.
