SeniorSpecialist, Managed Services
KPMG is seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Managed Services practice.
Responsibilities- Execute the day-to-day activities of Workday managed services engagements for a variety of post-production clients, including enhancement and optimization initiatives, break/fix support, release management, new feature deployments, process improvement, and road mapping.
- Ensure client satisfaction and timely delivery; collaborate with clients to strategize and drive post-production goals.
- Support cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions; lead the analysis, design, configuration, and delivery of the Workday solution.
- Coordinate work handoffs with offshore teams, maintain traceability of client updates and work in progress; act as a point of contact for client needs during US business hours.
- Serve as a functional subject matter expert during sales and proposal activities and in KPMG Value Optimizations, assessing tenant opportunities to maximize value from Workday investments.
- Mentor and upskill junior resources onshore and offshore.
- Act with integrity and professionalism to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment.
- Minimum three years of recent client-facing experience in Workday Finance; experience in a managed services organization and/or participation in at least two full-scale Workday Financials implementations.
- MBA or MIS from an accredited college/university is preferred; minimum Bachelor’s degree required;
Workday certifications in at least two of these modules:
Workday Pro Contracts to Cash Services, Business Assets Services Certification, Accounting Center Certification. If not currently certified, must obtain within three months of employment. - Understanding of ITIL framework, ITSM, and service desk management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on Workday features and best practices.
- Understanding of process reengineering and implementing business performance management enhancements including process workflow, approvals, and reporting.
- Ability to travel as required.
