• Leads and directs a team of specialists responsible for providing expert guidance and support to the Enterprise Business Cycle Owner (EBCO) in coordinating audit readiness, process management, and organizational assessments within DLA Information Operations.
• Establishes annual team audit and testing plans, goals, objectives and performance metrics aligned with DLA strategic objectives, audit requirements, and best practices, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Provides oversight and strategic direction for the development and implementation of policies and procedures to sustain a robust IT audit readiness posture, ensuring effective designation and operation of general and application controls.
• Ensures the team maintains a comprehensive understanding of audit readiness and controls processes of the IT Life cycle/Business cycle.
• Serves as a strategic consultant to senior leadership, providing expert advice and recommendations on audit readiness and process optimization strategies.

  Experience:
  
  One year of specialized experience directly related to this position. For GS‑14 level, equivalent to GS‑13 or other pay system component; must meet time‑in‑grade and other regulatory requirements as of the closing date.
• Prepares and presents high‑level briefings and reports to senior leadership on audit readiness status, process improvement initiatives, and organizational assessment results.
• Identifies and champions innovative solutions to improve audit readiness posture, reduce risks, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Provides strategic direction and oversight for the team’s role as lead facilitators in continuous process improvement projects or events, ensuring effective management of overall CPI capability.
