Senior Oracle Financials Functional Analyst (Oracle Cloud: GL, FA, AR, Accounting Hub)

Overview
Our client, a Fortune 500 manufacturer, is looking for a Senior Oracle Financials Functional Analyst to join the Finance Systems team at its Cleveland corporate headquarters. This is a functional, business-facing role, closer to a business analyst than a developer. You’ll own configuration, enhancements and support for Oracle Financials, focused on General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable and Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH).

You’ll work closely with Finance and Accounting users, IT and project teams to turn business needs into working solutions. You’ll also help lead projects and implementations within the application.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the functional expert for Oracle Financials Cloud: GL, FA, AR and Fusion Accounting Hub
• Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance and Accounting stakeholders and turn them into functional designs and configuration specs
• Configure, maintain and improve Oracle Financials modules, including accounting rules and subledger setups in Accounting Hub
• Lead or support projects and implementations from requirements and design through configuration, testing, cutover and post-go-live support
• Plan and run testing (unit, SIT, UAT) and coordinate defect fixes with technical teams and Oracle Support
• Handle quarterly Oracle Cloud updates: review new features, run regression testing and assess the impact on the business
• Give production support to end users, troubleshoot issues and find root causes
• Write and maintain documentation, including functional designs, configuration workbooks, test scripts and user training materials
• Work with technical teams on reports, integrations and extensions, using basic SQL to validate data and dig into issues
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of functional experience with Oracle Financials
• Hands-on experience with both Oracle Financials Cloud (Fusion) and Oracle EBS R12
• Strong functional knowledge of General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Accounts Receivable
• Hands-on experience with Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH), which is required
• Proven experience managing configurations and running projects within Oracle Financials
• Solid understanding of accounting processes and financial close
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work directly with Finance stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with at least one full-cycle Oracle Financials implementation (a big plus)
• Experience with Cash Management and High Radius
• Basic SQL or coding knowledge (helpful, but this is not a technical/development role)
• Familiarity with AI agents or automation within Oracle Cloud
• Oracle Cloud Financials certification
