Join Medical Mutual's growing Epic Payer Platform (EPP) team and play a key role in building and supporting critical infrastructure for a major enterprise technology initiative. The Epic Payer Platform is a modern healthcare interoperability platform that supports secure, bidirectional exchange of eligibility and clinical information between Medical Mutual and participating provider organizations. This is a unique opportunity to join the program at its inception and help shape the reliability, performance, and operational excellence of a new Epic Payer Platform environment.

Candidates do not need prior Epic experience, as training will be provided. This role serves as the bridge between development and production, ensuring applications, configurations, and code changes are deployed in a consistent, secure, and controlled manner. The engineer will support the Dev Sec Ops  lifecycle, manage source control and deployment pipelines, and help standardize release processes for the Epic Payer Platform (EPP).

We're seeking experience with Git, pipeline management, Azure Dev Ops (or similar tools such as Jenkins), and promoting configuration and data changes through deployment pipelines.

What You'll Do

• Support the Dev Sec Ops  lifecycle and software deployment processes.
• Manage and support source control and code promotion activities.
• Build, maintain, and support deployment pipelines.
• Ensure proper transition of applications and changes from development to production.
• Support configuration management and promotion of application and data changes.
• Participate in Epic Payer Platform deployment and maintenance activities.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and occasional off-hours support as needed.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, site reliability engineering, or related IT experience
• Windows Server experience (2022 preferred; 2019 acceptable)
• IIS administration and support
• Power Shell scripting

Job Summary:

Assists in many aspects of infrastructure engineering, including but not limited to: automation, capacity management, monitoring, scalability and incident response (including off hours on-call support). Assists with implementation of new technologies to replace legacy systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitors and reports on the user experience, responds to production incidents, conducts postmortems and acts to prevent recurrence of known problems.
• Assists with the day- to- day maintenance and operations of Medical Mutual’s systems.
• Supports production as part of a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Utilizes automation to reduce inefficiencies and eliminate toil to improve the reliability of Medical Mutual’s systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of combined experience with operating system concepts, analysis, networking and/or cloud systems
• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting systems
