Job OverviewSeeking a High Net Worth (HNW) Personal Lines Account Manager to manage and service a portfolio of affluent clients’ property and casualty accounts across multiple U.S. states. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional client service, maintain high-value personal lines portfolios, and ensure seamless coordination with producers, underwriters, and carrier partners.
The position requires deep knowledge of high-value property, luxury vehicles, fine art, and other specialized coverage needs, along with the ability to navigate complex risk exposures and provide strategic coverage recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and service assigned book of business for high-net-worth personal lines clients.
- Utilize Applied EPIC (or similar AMS) for processing client requests (e.g., evidence of insurance, , policy changes).
- Ensure prompt and accurate client responses within 24 hours.
- Quote new and renewal business with various carrier partners via comparative rater tools.
- Prepare detailed proposals, summaries of coverage, and renewal presentations.
- Collaborate closely with Producers/Sales Agents to retain and grow the existing client base.
- Maintain high standards of documentation, accuracy, and compliance across all client records.
- Provide proactive risk management and insurance advisory support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier underwriters (Chubb, AIG, PURE, Cincinnati, etc.).
- Manage multiple policies and scheduled items across luxury homes, collections, and vehicles.
- 3–5 years of experience managing personal lines accounts (5+ preferred).
- Proven ability to provide exceptional client service for high-value clients.
- Active Ohio Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
- Experience with agency management systems (Applied TAM, Applied EPIC, or AMS 360).
- Background handling HNW clients ($20,000+ premium accounts).
- Strong technical understanding of coverage forms, endorsements, floaters, and umbrella policies.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- High School Diploma/GED required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience managing multi-state accounts (especially coastal regions such as FL or CA).
- Knowledge of luxury property, fine art, jewelry, yacht, or exotic vehicle insurance.
- Understanding of risk exposures: fire, flood, earthquake, water damage, and liability.
- Familiarity with estate and trust-owned property coverage structures.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members and external partners.
- Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online quoting tools.
