Role DescriptionThe Stop Loss Claims Analyst isresponsiblefor receiving and processing claims submitted by ourthird-party administrators.
Asa member of this team, you will receive and accurately inputclaimsdata and process low dollar claims. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to manage your time in order to meet deadlines and metrics. To be successful in this role, one must be flexible, able to manage their time independently and open to learning and growth.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Initial point of contact in the claims department.
- Setting up claims.
- Conducting analysis of submission materials.
- Communicate with third party administrators to discuss claim submissions.
- Adjudication of claims up to a specific dollar limit.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication, collaboration, and written skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; handles multiple work streams with deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Desire to be a part of a collaborative team.
- Open to learning and taking on new challenges.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
