Overview
Provides legal advice and counsel in support of immigration matters before USCIS and Executive Office of Immigration Review. Researches and interprets existing laws and regulations and anticipated changes to laws to guide informed decisions and reduce risk. Prepares and reviews all immigrant and non-immigrant visa matters. Reviews and process incoming documents.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include providing legal guidance on immigration matters, researching applicable laws and regulations, preparing and reviewing visa matters, and processing incoming documents.
Qualifications- Admitted to practice law in any state.
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited university is required.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher and top 15% of graduating class.
- Excellent writing, organizational and research skills required. (Writing sample may be requested).
- 5 years of litigation experience or 3 years of immigration experience.
- Immigration experience is a plus.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Regular appearance in Immigration Court in person and by video; travel to Immigration Courts in other cities may be necessary.
