Overview
Join Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Dinsmore HBCU Scholars Program and become part of a diverse, inclusive environment that supports first‑year law students from HBCU law schools or who completed an HBCU undergraduate or graduate program.
Eligibility and Qualifications- First‑year law student attending one of the six HBCU law schools.
- First‑year law student who completed an HBCU undergraduate or graduate program.
The scholarship recipient will participate in Dinsmore’s 10‑week summer associate program in locations such as Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis, Lexington, Louisville, Los Angeles, San Diego, Orlando, Miami, Tampa, Pittsburgh, Charleston or Morgantown, or Washington, DC. The recipient will receive a $10,000 scholarship and may be eligible to return for a second summer and become a first‑year associate after graduation.
ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the 10‑week summer associate program, complete required assignments, and engage in all assigned projects and professional development activities.
