Legal Assistant - Business & Corporate Law

We're recruiting for a Cleveland-based law firm seeking a Legal Assistant to support its Business & Corporate Law group. This role requires hands-on experience with transactional work, providing essential support for attorneys handling mergers, acquisitions, entity formations, and corporate filings.

What You'll Do

• Draft, edit, and proofread contracts, correspondence, and closing documents

• Manage Docu Sign workflows, organizational charts, and closing binders

• Track signatures, maintain corporate records, and coordinate closings

• Serve as a point of contact between attorneys, clients, and third parties

• Handle time entry, scheduling, and general administrative support

What You'll Bring

• Background as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary supporting business or corporate attorneys

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Docu Sign, and legal document management systems

• Understanding of transactional processes, corporate records, and closing documentation

• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and multitasking skills
