Our client, a growing manufacturer in the industrial products space, is seeking a Jr. Buyer to purchase complex and technical materials, components, and services, including custom items built to rigid specifications. You will manage the international supplier base, negotiate long-term agreements, and drive year-over-year cost reductions.
Experience we would like see- Bachelor's degree (must have)
- Experience with procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience purchasing complex, technical, or custom-designed items to rigid specifications
- Experience managing international suppliers, open purchase orders, and inventory levels
- Experience negotiating long-term agreements (LTAs) with key vendors
- Track record of delivering documented cost savings
