Manager Retail Training role at Advantage Solutions.
We are seeking a dynamic Manager of Retail Training to be responsible for training and development directly supporting a client. The Manager, Retail Training will provide training targeted at field associates and assess the training needs of the team through surveys, interviews, focus groups, observation or consultation with managers, instructors or customer representatives. The successful candidate will present information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures.
The Manager, Retail Training will also evaluate training materials prepared by specialists such as outlines, text, and handouts. This role requires a considerable amount of travel.

- Analyze retail team training needs, to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs in partnership with the retail client and the Company.
- Develop project timelines and manage to them; develop learning solutions using contemporary e‑learning software (Articulate Storyline, MS PowerPoint, etc.) ; develop testing and evaluation procedures in partnership with Talent Development.
- Conduct evaluations and analyze metrics for programs; provide reports on project metrics.
- Manage risks and adjust timeline for successful completion of projects on time and within budget.
- Travel 2 out of 4 weeks to provide in‑person training/support out in retail, attend client deep dive meetings or participate in management level meetings with internal team members.
- Design and develop blended learning training programs including instructor‑led, technical systems and computer‑based training delivery methods; design and implement leadership development tools to support managers in their role and contribute to their personal and professional growth.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management/Development, Organizational Development, Instructional Technology or equivalent combination of education and related experience required; MBA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3+ years of Program/Project Management experience required.
- 5+ years of Learning/HR experience preferred with working knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design for e‑Learning, instructor‑led training and blended learning.
- Ability to direct, lead, coach, and develop people; coaching experience preferred.
- Client interaction experience, either internal or external, preferred.
- Strong skill with Articulate Storyline required; working familiarity with Adobe CC (Photo Shop, Illustrator, InDesign) preferred.
