Lead Project Manager

The Lead Project Manager will drive mid‑to large‑scale projects across multiple business and technology teams, managing initiatives from concept through implementation. This role requires strong leadership, structured delivery, and the ability to navigate complex dependencies across deposit systems and related applications.

• This position is Hybrid and Ideal candidate is located within footprint (Cleveland, Albany and Buffalo, NY)
• This is 2 days in office

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large, cross‑functional projects in a fast‑paced environment
• Define scope, requirements, deliverables, and success measures with business and technology partners
• Build and manage integrated project plans, dependencies, risks, and timelines
• Coordinate across waterfall, agile, and hybrid delivery models
• Lead communication, stakeholder engagement, and status reporting
• Develop and execute change management plans, including communication and training
• Manage project financials, forecasting, and vendor resources
• Identify, escalat​e, and resolve issues and risks
• Conduct lessons‑learned reviews and support continuous improvement

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• PMP or similar certification preferred
• 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in financial services
• Strong understanding of deposit products, workflows, and system integrations

• Operates independently with strong leadership and team‑motivation skills
• Advanced problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication
• Strong business acumen and ability to articulate future‑state vision
• Skilled in risk/issue management, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment
