Job Description SummaryThe ROCC Plant Operator will be responsible for the day‑to‑day remote operation and control of equipment used in air separation, vacuum swing absorption, and carbon dioxide plants for multiple sites across the United States from a central location. The position will also be accountable for remote monitoring and troubleshooting of plant mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical devices and equipment, working hand‑in‑hand with engineering personnel to assist field technicians with the identification and correction of ongoing plant issues and inefficiencies.
Periodically, the operator will provide on‑site field support to various processing plants for start‑ups, training and coverage during normal production.
Operate and control plant equipment remotely, monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with engineering and field technicians, provide on‑site support when required.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous electrical or controls experience (SCADA/HMI/PLC)
- Two or more years of experience operating a control board in a plant setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Air Separation/CO₂ Plant experience preferred
- Electrical/Instrumentation background an additional plus
$38 per hour & up, DOE
Schedule7 days on / 7 days off, 12‑hour shift
