We have one opening for a 2nd shift Centerless Grinder Operator

We have an opportunity to join Regal Rexnord as a Centerless Grinder Operator. The Centerless Grinder Operator is responsible for operating the centerless grinder to produce parts to specifications. Grind parts for thread rollers and for finished product.

• Set up centerless grinder machinery.
• Operate centerless grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
• Move completed material to next workstation.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Daily verbal communication with employees regarding work schedules and jobs. Written and verbal communication with management as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED (One year certificate from college or technical school preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum six months related experience or training.
• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions and interact with multiple personality types.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills. Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates, and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
