Position Type: Contract - Temp to Engage (Onsite)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Position OverviewRicoh is seeking a detail-oriented Sr. On-Site Service Specialist to operate high-speed digital production printers and support day-to-day printing, mailing, and production operations. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in printing, mailing, or related industries who are comfortable in fast-paced warehouse environments. The position requires strong attention to detail, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Key Responsibilities Printing & Production Operations- Operate high-volume digital production printers, duplicating, and bindery equipment.
- Load paper, clear jams, and unload printed material.
- Perform post-processing tasks such as binding, shrink-wrapping, collating, and packing.
- Conduct quality control checks and final verification of printed materials.
- Stage, print, collate, and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Utilize Fed Ex Shipping Manager and customer shipping software to fulfill orders.
- Maintain records for reports, inventory, and job logs (Google Docs or other platforms).
- Determine appropriate packing methods and materials; check packing slips for accuracy.
- Respond to and coordinate service calls, assist with filing and archiving.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on printers, copiers, and bindery equipment.
- Maintain copier functionality and conduct routine equipment checks.
- Document daily activities, job progress, and inventory accurately.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and customers via Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and other channels.
- Follow instructions, technical manuals, and standard operating procedures accurately.
- Walk, stand, bend, twist, and remain on feet for entire shift.
- Lift, pack, and carry boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Adhere to workplace safety and operational protocols.
- High school diploma or GED required; some post-secondary education preferred.
- 1-2 years of related experience in printing, mailing, or production environments preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of copier, printer, and bindery equipment preferred.
- Understanding of shipping/receiving procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
