Ford Motor Company is hiring for the Skilled Trade - Toolmaker & Template Maker - Cleveland Engine. This role requires the ability to work on any assigned schedule, change shifts, work overtime, and maintain good attendance. The position involves learning and following safety rules and procedures, working in a team, and following instructions from leadership.

• Willingness and ability to work any assigned schedule, change shifts, work more than 8 hours per day, and/or work overtime with good attendance.
• Learn and follow safety rules and procedures; work in a team environment; treat co-workers with dignity and respect; follow instructions from leadership.
• Understand and follow instructions, both oral and written.
• Perform tasks of the trade: stand for extended periods, walk unassisted, work at heights and overhead (ladders and platforms), and manipulate tools typical of the trade.
• Reach, lift, twist, bend, and use PMHV or hoist; perceive details and prints related to the trade; maneuver around vehicles, equipment, and production areas.

• Candidates must have completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or have 8 years of previous experience, or have a combination of work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade.
• Experience operating manual lathes, mills, surface grinders, radial drills, and metal cutting machines.
• Experience fabricating and repairing fixtures and tooling.
• Set up and operation of CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Use of precision measuring tools; blueprint and schematic reading.
• Successful completion of a job interview, pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check (drug panel does not include THC).

Tool and Template Makers are paid a top hourly base rate of $42.52, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. The starting rate is $42.32 with increases to the top rate after three consecutive months of employment.
