Welder

Minutemen Direct is recruiting Welders on 2nd shift and the weekend shift for a large metal fabricator in Cleveland, OH. Do you take pride in your work and want growth? If so, this is the position for you. Pay starts at $22.00 out of a vocational program, and goes up based on skill level and expertise.

• Weld various parts in different materials.
• Perform grinding, sanding, and cutting (oxy fuel and hand plasma).
• Conduct dimensional inspections of parts and check for quality requirements.
• Weld carbon, stainless, or high alloy steels.
• Use FCAW and GMAW spray transfer techniques.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
• Understand and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Weld thick to thin structural members.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Vocational School preferred (not required).

• 2nd shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM.
• Weekend shift:
  Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
