Worthington Steel is a global metals manufacturer serving growing end markets including automotive, construction and agriculture. Here in Cleveland, we process steel for a variety of customers; mainly working with automotive suppliers.

This position requires a dependable, self-starter who leads with safety and has a desire to perform their duties to the highest standard.

*** We are hiring for Night Shift (11PM-7AM) and Day Shift (5:00 AM - 1:00 PM) Positions.***

We offer competitive pay starting at $20/hour.

Our Production Associates are responsible for helping process steel specific to our customer needs in order for them to make a product. Duties include a wide variety of tasks, from material handling, crane operation, forklift operating, problem solving, quality control and other duties to assist with daily operations. In addition, Production Associates package/band, weigh, and load/unload material from machines and stage material in a timely and accurate manner.

• Skilled with reading and using a tape measure.
• Basic math & reading skills.
• Must be able to handle physical, repetitive work, lifting up to 50lbs and be on your feet 8 hours per day.
• Possess good problem-solving skills and knowledge of safety practices.
• Possess a high level of personal accountability and attention to detail.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must have the flexibility to work off shifts.
• Dependable transportation is required. Public transportation and/or walking are not suitable options due to safety regulations.
