** What You'll Do
*** Weld broken tools, machine parts, jigs, and fixtures using appropriate welding methods.
* Operate automatic welding machines safely and efficiently.
* Perform TIG welding and aluminum brazing.
* Weld or braze components using oxy-acetylene, GTAW, GMAW, or other processes as needed.
* Set up work from prints, drawings, or fixtures and select welding sequences to minimize distortion.
* Ensure all welds are leak-proof and conduct final inspections of your work.
* Maintain bench stock supplies and keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
* Apply basic machine skills and mechanical assembly techniques.
* Perform additional duties assigned to support production and maintenance needs.
** What You'll Need
*** Certified Welder (Required).
* High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training is a plus.
* 1–3 years of welding/fabrication experience preferred.
* Knowledge of welding techniques, metal fabrication, and blueprint reading.
* Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to exercise judgment to perform duties safely and accurately.
* Lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 70 pounds.
* Stand for extended periods and bend/twist as required.
* Machine shop setting with potential exposure to dust, sand, and dirt.
* Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
