The Press Operator is responsible for managing a manual stamping press used for manufacturing metal bakeware. He/She ensures production is maintained safely, accurately, and quickly.

• Operate stamping press safely and accurately, meeting daily production goals.
• Follow company guidelines and procedures to meet manufacturing specifications.
• Alert production supervisors of any manufacturing defects immediately.
• Work together as a team with other press operators to maintain production.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Utilize personal protective equipment at all times to ensure safety.
• Reliable and punctual in reporting for work as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Union

Reports To:

Production Supervisor

Hours
Monday through Friday
1st shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm
2nd shift - 3:30pm - 12:00am

• Ability to follow instructions
• Excellent hand/eye coordination
• Basic understanding of machine operations
• Ability to focus and concentrate for extended periods
• Resilient with a positive attitude
• Self-motivated and solid work ethic
• Willingness to learn and take direction

• High school diploma or GED preferred; not required
• Previous press operator experience preferred; not required

• Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
• Continuous sitting, bending, pushing/pulling
• Dexterity and the ability to use hands and fingers to assemble
