The OD/ is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining an OD/ machine to produce precision components according to specifications. This position ensures parts meet dimensional accuracy, surface finish requirements, and quality standards. This is a full‑time position with competitive pay and benefits.

• Set up and operate OD/ machines to perform precision grinding on various metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings
• Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other precision measurement tools
• Adjust machine feeds, speeds, and wheel dressing as needed to achieve required tolerances
• Perform routine wheel dressing and changeovers
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, surface finish, and conformance to quality standards
• Monitor machine performance and identify wear, malfunction, or need for maintenance
• Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation
• Perform other duties assigned

• 2 plus years of previous experience operating OD/ machines preferred;
  Studer machine experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tolerance control, and surface finishing
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurement specifications
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, etc.)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or machining certificate preferred
